Abstract. A new δ 18 O map of southern Nevada groundwater shows a systematic decrease in δ 18 O of ∼5‰ from 36° to 39°N latitude. The variation is consistent with higher-latitude recharge following continuous flow paths along north-south trending graben valleys and systematically increasing in δ 18 O due to mixing with lower-latitude, higher-δ 18 O recharge. Ground-Water Temperature Data, Nevada Test Site and Vicinity, Nye, Clark, and Lincoln Counties, Nevada, Article January with 18 Reads How we measure 'reads'.

Much was riding on the success of the Faultless Test. Three deep emplacement holes were drilled on the Central Nevada site, one for Faultless and the other two in anticipation of tests which would immediately follow a successful calibration of the site.
